Ikea Organizing Products
While I am a huge fan of The Container Store (TCS), sometimes their products can be a bit on the pricey side! I always like to have a few great cost effective organizing products to recommend, and decided to spotlight out some current Ikea offerings! Here are a few of my favorites, and why I love them!
This SKADIS Peg Board system is so versatile and can be completely customized. The boards themselves come in a variety of shapes, sizes, and colors, and for a truly custom look, they can be painted as well. You can then select from a variety of shelving and container options that will attach to the board. I would use these in an office, a garage, or over a changing station in a nursery! The prices of these pieces vary as they are a modular system, but you could get out the door with a pretty solid setup for under $50!

This green IDASEN may be my favorite product from this trip. I am in LOVE with the color, the adjustable shelves, and just how much storage this thing packs! The closing doors are a great way to hide clutter, and since they are magnetic you can even hang important reminders or pictures on the inside. This would be so fun in a kid’s room to house books, toys, and other items. It would also be great in an office or as a craft cabinet. I am still trying to find a place I could get one for my own house. Priced at $399

These VARIERA bins are a great option to contain collections of items. They are very affordable and great for storage in just about every room, and labels will easily adhere to them, which is a nice bonus for us organizers. They can also be wiped down and washed as needed. They offer several sizes and pricing starts at $3.99 each!

This RISATORP series is not only fun to say but comes in three colors and has a cute wooden handle. I have seen similar products in this style at a much higher price point. The mesh design makes it perfect for fruits and vegetables, and the handle makes it easy to get in our out to refill! Priced at $14.99.

I often suggest magazine racks to house collections or paper, or assign one to each person in a family for their important things in common drop spots. I love this one in particular because it can be turned around to hide everything, and it’s rattan finish offers an elevated look. Plus, at only $13.99 each, It will not break the bank!
